For our client - GE ENERGY, we are looking for a suitable candidate for a logistic position based in Prague 5. The position is suitable also for dynamic and motivated fresh graduates.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyzing the shipment
* Placing orders with carriers and forwarders for domestic/international transportation
* Tracking freight from the shipper’s door to the port of import and to the final destination
* Responsible for receiving and forwarding the shipment/customs documentation from shippers
* Resolving shipment damage/loss issues with carriers or forwarders and related GE entity
- Daily communication with buyers, suppliers and contracted carriers
- Provide transport and packing quotations for shipments (supervise the optimal way of transport)
Requirements:
- University degree
- Experience in an International Transport (min. 3 years)
- Strong motivation for working in logistics
- Very good English and French (both spoken and written), Czech is not necessary
- Good knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of MRP (Oracle, SAP, Baan, etc.) is a plus
- Proficient communication skills
- Positive and multitask approach to work, team player
- Pro-active, flexible and dynamic personality
